BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu)
is a combat martial art that focuses on grappling and ground fighting, made popular through the UFC. Classes cover the sport of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and cover self defence concepts. BJJ is a thinking persons sport, that is oftened likened to “physical chess”.
Whilst many students have no interest in competing, students do have the opportunity to compete in both local Tasmanian competitions and on the mainland. Classes cater for students of all levels. Come along, have some fun and make some new friends.

How to Start My first Class?
Getting started in your first class is easy, all classes cater for all experience levels, from beginner to advanced. All are welcome.To get started you don’t need any equipment or specialised clothing. Just wear loose-fitting clothing that allows movement and bring a drink bottle. For your first class arrive at the gym 10 minutes early to be shown through and meet your instructor.

Adam brings over 25 years of dedicated experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is honored as the first black belt ever awarded in Tasmania.
