Forge Strength, Train Like a Fighter

Kickboxing classes

If you want to get fighting fit, join our instructors Jacob and Jordan Kelly for our Adults Kickboxing/Muay Thai classes. Both Jacob and Jordan are experienced competitors with a passion for helping their students. Classes cover the sport of Muay Thai, the art of 8 limbs, and specializes in striking with hands, feet, shins, knees and elbows. Timetabled classes cover all students from beginner to advanced, with extra sessions available for the more experienced. So if you’re looking to get fit, or looking to jump into the ring to compete, the Kelly brothers can help you do both. Jacob and Jordan are available for private lessons and private small group training. Contact Adam for more details.

When you first start training you will need to wear comfortable clothing that you can move in easily, example shorts and a T-shirt. We have gloves and shin guards you can borrow to get started, but you’ll need to purchase some inner gloves ($3) for hygiene purposes.

To continue your training you’ll need to purchase your own gloves, shin guards, mouthguard etc. This can be purchased at the club or elsewhere. It is not necessary to have all this equipment to start your first class, but you will need it as you progress.

Here at the Sorell Martial Arts Academy, we have boxing bags and equipment to help you train in the sport under the supervision of our qualified instructors who will help you achieve your goals.
